As our Lead SEO & AI Search Analyst, you’ll lead the development and execution of our enterprise-wide SEO and AI Search strategy to support key business objectives. You will partner with digital, marketing, and content teams, as well as external vendors, to optimise RAC’s organic search performance across our digital ecosystem and ensure visibility in emerging AI-powered discovery channels, such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and voice search interfaces.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across major digital projects like main public website redesign and re-platform, enhance technical and content performance, and provide actionable insights that improve visibility, traffic, and conversions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and implement RAC’s SEO strategy aligned with our digital roadmap and business goals.
- Optimise for Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, structured data, and crawlability.
- Drive SEO planning through major digital transformations and CMS migrations.
- Monitor evolving AI-assisted search behaviour (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT) and adapt RAC’s search strategy accordingly.
- Conduct keyword research and AI prompt analysis, including optimisation for natural language and voice search queries, and provide data-driven recommendations to content and technical teams.
- Embed SEO and AI search best practice into content workflows, digital experience design, and campaign execution.
- Ensure content is structured, tagged, and semantically rich to enhance discoverability across generative AI tools and conversational interfaces.
- Manage SEO tools (e.g., GA4, SEMrush, GSC) and deliver performance reports with clear insight, and adapting metrics and tools for AI-assisted search visibility
- Engage and guide external SEO and digital agencies to deliver value-aligned outcomes.
- Upskill internal teams through training, governance frameworks, and knowledge sharing.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience in enterprise or agency SEO roles.
- Expertise in technical, content and backlink SEO strategy.
- Experience leading SEO for complex CMS migrations or re-platforms.
- Proficiency in tools such as GA4, SEMrush, GSC, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Qualifications in Marketing, IT, Data Science or a related field.
- Relevant SEO certifications (GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Understanding of AI-powered search environments, structured content for LLMs, and voice search optimisation.

Base salary range on offer for this role (dependent on experience): $120k - $145k + benefits.
