Role Purpose
The Network Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation, operations, and support of enterprise wired and wireless networks, with hands‑on expertise in Cisco and Juniper technologies. The role supports business‑critical network infrastructure ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Support
Provide L2/L3 support for wired and wireless network environments
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to routing, switching, and WLAN
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
Implementation & Configuration
Configure and maintain Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and wireless systems
Implement VLANs, trunking, routing protocols, redundancy, and QoS
Support new site deployments, expansions, and network upgrades
Coordinate with ISPs, OEM vendors, and internal stakeholders
Wired & Wireless Technologies
Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructure
Configure routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
Support enterprise wireless (Controller‑based WLANs, RF fundamentals, WLAN security)
Assist with wireless performance tuning and coverage optimization
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain updated network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration documentation
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and organizational standards
Support audits and internal reviews when required
Required Technical Skills
Core Networking
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS
Hands‑on experience with Cisco IOS/NX‑OS and Juniper JunOS
Wired Technologies
Cisco Catalyst / Nexus
Juniper EX / QFX switches
Wireless Technologies
Enterprise WLAN solutions (Cisco / Juniper / equivalent)
Knowledge of WLAN security (802.1X, WPA2/WPA3)
