Job Description
The Lead Security Coordinator is a member of the Global Security Organization and is responsible for supporting the Guest Reception Supervisor at NBCUniversal's Corporate Headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, NY. They will report to the Manager, Guest Reception.
Responsibilities:
- Greet employees and their guests with courtesy and professionalism. Review access permissions and process appropriated identification in a timely manner
- Answer phones and respond to email requests courteously and professionally
- Prioritize customer service and guest satisfaction as a representative of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, NBCUniversal, and Global Security Operations
- Collaborate with Supervisor to support Employee Registration office and responsibilities assigned and assist with special projects (as necessary)
- Monitor the performance of contract security personnel that support Guest Reception
- Collaborate with Supervisor to support the Executive Security reception desk (as necessary )
- Process workflow reports as necessary
- Manage critical access lists
- Evaluate-cross train contract security personnel assigned to Guest Reception
- Oversee the check-in process for large groups and VIP visitors for executive office, studio tours, and meetings
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the office and workstations
- Follow all processes and protocols set forth by management at all times
- Make prompt notifications to appropriate team members during unusual situations or emergencies. Handle all situations in an attentive, calm, and controlled manner.
- Partner with organizations outside of Global Security to generate reports, update access control, admit guests, etc.
- Actively take part in training programs as directed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Guest Reception, Hospitality, Customer Service, or Security (or similar field)
- Experience issuing guest and employee credentials
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web applications
- Ability to maintain a corporate presence, professional demeanor, and positive attitude while assisting employees and their guests
- Available and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with HID Safe and Lenel a plus
- 64+ College Credits or Military Experience (honorable discharge) Active Duty/Reservist (preferred but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced surroundings
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to successfully adapt to changes in the work environment
- Ability to work well on a team, independently, and with divisions external to the Security organization (e.g., Human Resources, Legal, EHS, etc.)

- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
