Wells Fargo's Supply Chain Finance Group ("SCF") supports companies with a broad range of supply chain solutions, including financing of Original Equipment Manufacture's/Vendor's sales to their dealers and distributors ("Floor Plan Financing") via our Inventory Finance Group. SCF is seeking a dynamic, results oriented, Lead Secured Lending Underwriter to underwrite the Floor Plan Programs offered to our vendor partners.
In this role, you will:
- Underwrite the vendor's creditworthiness and program terms in accordance with corporate policies, Inventory Finance Standard Operating procedures and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Gather a clear understanding of the various legal documents associated with the vendor and programs. As well as negotiation of the document terms with the vendors.
- Lead periodic performance reviews of the vendor partners.
- Lead meetings and discussions with senior leaders/approvers, commercial team, legal team, other Wells Fargo Lines of business with a relationship with our vendor partner and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate and consult with underwriting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Participate in and lead SCF projects.
- Serve as a mentor to junior teammates.
- 5+ years of Secured Lending Underwriting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of lending experience either floor plan financing, cash flow, asset-based, or securitization lending
- Strong analytical skills, with heightened attention to detail and accuracy, recognizing importance of data integrity and adherence to credit policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Working knowledge of various secured lending programs and structures.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
