About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Scrum Master within the Enterprise Functions Technology Group (EFT). In this role, you will be supporting our innovative agile environment and leading end-to-end project execution of our digital transformation initiatives.
As a Lead Scrum Master, you will enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively and proactively raising issues to influence change. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity
- Guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
- Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
- Oversee systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate
- Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
- Partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
- Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Train other Scrum Masters and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years working in an Agile environment
- 5+ Experience facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning backlog refinement and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence software
- 5+ years of end-to-end project execution
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years in building JQL, managing, delivering JIRA boards and dashboards
- Scrum Master Certification i.e., CSM from Scrum Alliance or PSM from Scrum.org
- Ability to work with situations of ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty in order drive outcomes forward
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Prior experience with Project Management tasks to include metrics tracking, project planning, scope development, etc..

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
