Job Description
- Manage commercial activities for Drilling & Completions Fluids within the assigned market, acting as the primary point of contact for key customers.
- “Own” existing contracts and their profitability, acting as the contracts manager to ensure delivery against commercial commitments.
- Drive profitability on existing contracts through strategic initiatives, including cost optimization, process improvements, and enhanced operational alignment.
- Responsible for upsell strategies tailored to each customer and rig, identifying opportunities to expand scope and increase value.
- Develop and execute strategies for sustainable growth, including participation in large tenders and long-term agreements.
- Ensure EBITDA targets and financial metrics are met through disciplined commercial execution and proactive performance management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM systems (Salesforce) and other commercial tools.
- Collaborate closely with the Region Service Delivery Manager, operations, supply chain, and global sales teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and improve overall efficiency.
- Contribute to pricing frameworks and negotiate client-specific conditions within established guidelines.
- Act as a change agent, introducing innovative approaches to improve commercial performance and deliver value to both customers and the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years in sales or other customer-facing roles within the oilfield services industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling and completions fluids.
