Ansvarsområde: Maskinarbeider er ansvarlig for å betjene bedriftens maskiner og utstyr for utførelse av arbeidsoperasjoner beskrevet i arbeidsordre.
Myndighet: Stillingen innehar myndighet i henhold til bedriftens signatur matrise og ansvarsområde som definert i stillingsbeskrivelsen.
Arbeidsbeskrivelse: Produsere/reparere produkter og detaljer i h.h.t. arbeidsordre og i
overensstemmelse med lisensgivernes og Parker Wellbore (PW) sine egne krav.
Foreta og dokumentere egenkontroll av produkter i overensstemmelse med lisensgivernes og PW sine egne krav. Foreta kontroll av andres produkter der krav til kompetanse er oppfylt.
Følge opp rutiner for oppstart og vedlikehold av maskiner og sørge for at disse holdes i god stand, samt holde generelt god orden i verksted. I tillegg skal maskinarbeider ha orden på verktøy og måleutstyr som blir brukt i forbindelse med produksjon og straks melde fra om feil/avvik på utstyr.
Fleksibilitet: Maskinarbeider kan pålegges andre oppgaver av sin nærmeste overordnede.
Kvalitet: Maskinarbeider er ansvarlig for kvaliteten av eget og avdelingens arbeid og skal benytte PW sitt KS system for sikre at arbeidet tilfredsstiller gjeldende krav. Maskinarbeider skal også bidra til kontinuerlig forbedring av kvaliteten på våre produkter og tjenester gjennom tilbakemelding på gjeldende prosedyrer, registrering av avvik og forslag til forbedringer.
HMS: PW skal sørge for at alle operasjoner kan gjøres på en sikker og hensiktsmessig måte gjennom oppdaterte arbeidsbeskrivelser og prosedyrer. PW har et ansvar for å sikre et godt arbeidsmiljø gjennom vernetjenesten, AMU og god ledelse. Alle ansatte i PW har plikt til å medvirke til et godt og sikkert arbeidsmiljø. Alle har plikt til å følge de krav som er satt og skal være med på å sikre at bedriftens HMS policy blir fulgt innenfor sine områder i særdeleshet og et generelt ansvar for at bedriftens HMS policy blir etterfulgt generelt sett.

Physical demands and work environment
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.

- Lift, carry, and move objects of up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to walk on uneven ground (gravel, rocks, mounds, ice)
- Wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to hard hat, steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, safety glasses, goggles and full body harness.
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, carry, push/pull, reach, and use repetitive wrist and hand movements.
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion
