Position Purpose:
Drive strategic vision and goals for the Cybersecurity Risk Analytics team through quantitative risk analyses. As a Lead Risk Quantification Analyst this role will be responsible for developing probabilistic models with requirement owners, and through application of modeling skills and concepts. This role requires experience with probabilistic analysis and quantitative risk measurement, as well as programming experience with R or Python (and related data-analysis abilities in scripting, data transformation, etc.). Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Derive business insights from quantitative models, interpret them and explain the process and results to decision-makers.
- Communicate the opportunity and value of quantitative risk analysis to leadership.
- Collect, analyze, and report cybersecurity risk metrics using company software and reporting tools.
- Serve as an expert and advocate in communicating quantified cybersecurity risk to senior leadership.
- Perform data transformation and data analysis in Excel, R, and/or Python to support the modeling approach.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of quantitative models and their documentation and validation.
- Perform peer review of quantitative analyses and risk models for quantifying or classifying risk consistently.
- Manage quantitative analysis training services including promoting, scheduling, and delivery of training.
- Create operational risk metric reports that provide leadership with key risk management performance insights.
- Work with IT and Cybersecurity Subject Matter Experts in framing business problems, determining appropriate analytical solutions, identifying data and eliciting estimates in risk modeling.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
6+ years of related experience.
License/Certification:
Open FAIR required
A cybersecurity or cyber risk management certification (CRISC, CISM, Sec+, CISSP) is highly preferred
Pay Range: $103,500.00 - $191,600.00 per year
