The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in Corporate Risk as part of the Corporate Risk Reporting and Analytics (CRRA) team. You will be responsible for partnering with the different risk programs to build requirements in support of reporting and analytics.
To be successful, you will need to bring an end-to-end analytical toolkit that includes writing requirements, understanding data extraction from the Dremio/SQL Server warehouses with SQL; creating data visualizations with Tableau/Power BI; validating and refining findings by partnering with subject matter experts that are in a matrixed organization; creating all required control documentation; and finally supporting UAT testing with business partners.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage the design, development, implementation, and management of business intelligence solutions
  • Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and portfolio analysis for Risk Analytics
  • Review and analyze complex programing to extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial analysis specific to businesses supported
  • Manage the roll out of pilot programs developed for supported businesses and product lines
  • Make decisions in complex product strategies, data analysis, and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common goals
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Development tools (JIRA and Github)
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of data visualizations (Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience with testing of large complex data sets
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying datasets and investigating issue
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects independently
  • Experience in transforming complex data and analyses into easily digestible and visually accessible dashboards and reports
  • Experience documenting non-technical business requirements and translating into technical rules
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks
  • Demonstrated success in building consensus among stakeholders and navigating obstacles to achieve shared goals
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
