Doodle Labs designs and produces industrial-grade wireless networking solutions.
The Role

Lead RF Design Engineer

Doodle Labs is a fast-growing technology leader in advanced wireless solutions for robotics and defense applications. We’re looking for an experienced Design Engineer who can own the end-to-end development of Wi-Fi-based hardware systems — from concept to production — while leading a cross-functional engineering team to deliver world-class products.

What You’ll Do
You will lead the design, testing, and production handover of advanced RF, digital, and analog hardware systems. Success means delivering fully functional, high-performance products — on time and to spec — while mentoring and guiding your team.
In Your First Year, You Will:

  • Design & Deliver complete digital, analog, and RF hardware systems based on Wi-Fi IC solutions.
    • Produce schematics, BOM, Gerber files, and PCBA.
    • Achieve working prototypes within 6–9 months.
  • Test & Verify system performance.
    • Execute RF and signal parameter testing with spectrum analyzer, power meter, LitePoint, R&S testers, and other tools.
    • Meet 802.11 standards.
    • Handover to production within 3 months post-verification.
  • Lead a Cross-Functional Team (Hardware, Software, Mechanical).
    • Define architecture, create project plans, track milestones.
    • Mentor engineers in best practices and problem-solving.
  • Partner with Manufacturing
    • Oversee PCBA bring-up, test, calibration, QA, and production readiness.
  • Solve Complex Technical Challenges
    • High-frequency circuit design, RF optimization, and evolving customer
      requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong track record in RF, digital, and analog hardware design.
  • Experience in guiding schematic capture, BOM, Gerber, and PCBA bring-up.
  • Proficiency in RF/Wi-Fi system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership skills to guide cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with RF instruments, LitePoint, R&S testers, Ubuntu platforms.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.

Why join us?

  • Be at the forefront of robotics and defense tech innovation.
  • Take full ownership of projects from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled, diverse, and agile team.
  • Work in a fast-growing company with global impact
