The Senior Technical Recruiter – India plays a critical role in driving talent acquisition to support business growth and workforce planning across the region.

This position ensures the delivery of high-quality recruitment outcomes by partnering with business, optimizing sourcing strategies, and enhancing candidate experience.

The role is essential for building a strong employer brand and ensuring timely hiring of top talent in a competitive market.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

Talent Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with business and HR leadership to understand workforce plans and hiring priorities for India
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with business growth and diversity goals
  • Define key hiring metrics (TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, quality-of-hire) and continuously improve outcomes. Partner with US TA Head and US HRIS team on reporting

End-to-End Recruitment Execution

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Ownership of data integrity in Workday ATS for India recruitment
  • Partner with US TA head on pipeline and requisition pull through metrics
  • Own hands-on hiring for niche and senior technology roles (AI/ML engineers, data scientists, full stack developers, etc.)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create compelling job postings and interview framework
  • Ensure smooth coordination with HR operations and onboarding teams

Sourcing & Market Intelligence

  • Use advanced sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Hire EZ, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Naukri, Boolean, etc.) to identify and engage high-quality talent
  • Build and maintain an active talent pipeline for critical roles using HireEZ and Workday tools
  • Provide real-time market insights—salary benchmarks, skill availability, and competitor hiring trends

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted recruitment advisor to functional leaders and hiring managers
  • Conduct regular hiring cadence reviews, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to the country HR head and Talent Acquisition head in US

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding

  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from first contact to onboarding. Partner with US TA head to ensure candidate experience is world-class and consistent
  • Partner with the US TA Head to strengthen Lyric’s employer brand presence on social media and professional platforms

Team Leadership (if applicable)

  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters or coordinators, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence
  • Drive performance metrics and capability building within the TA function

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Human resources
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of recruitment experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior individual contributor role
  • Workday experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate ability and curiosity to streamline recruitment by implementing AI assistance through validated tools
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment with distributed teams
  • Exposure to campus hiring and diversity initiatives
  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to interpret and act on recruitment data
