Job Description

Leads a team of infrastructure coordinators to support management in tracking and validation of capital budgets, project design and implementation processes, including, but is not limited to, annual capital budget justification, capital procurement and tracking, hardware deployment, hardware implementation and configuration, and hardware decommissioning. This includes both physical and virtual infrastructure related to datacenter and desktop deployments.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversees a team of infrastructure coordinators to handle day to day activities related capital procurement and capital deployment of infrastructure. 
  • Prepares, maintains, tracks, and reports on annual department capital and operating budget (i.e. hardware, software, license agreements, maintenance agreements, etc.). 
  • Collaborates with vendors to secure obtain costs data and communicates with management on same; validates software and hardware services against current allocations. 
  • Conducts analysis on actual and forecasts for the capital and operating budgets. 
  • Establishes design process and procedures in support of department programs. 
  • Provides training in the use of departmental application systems. 
  • Assists with day-to-day administration of the architectural/design application. 
  • Creates reports and provides data analysis for documented designs. 
  • Collaborates with management and PMO to ensure technical content and design work is completed in a timely fashion. 
  • Uses knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of functional objectives and principles to achieve goals in innovative ways. Problems addressed are of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience and progressive experience where team leadership was demonstrated, required.
