AI‑Assisted Quality Engineering (SDET)
Experience: 4–8 years

Location: Noida Sector 62 (Work from Office – 5 days a week)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead QualDev Engineer to drive AI‑assisted Quality Engineering initiatives across functional and automation testing, CI/CD, and defect prevention. This role emphasizes technical ownership, AI‑driven automation, and self‑healing test frameworks, enabling faster, more reliable software delivery in a product‑based engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, evolution, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers
- Leverage AI‑assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, VS Code Copilot) to accelerate test development, refactoring, and debugging
- Drive functional, regression, and integration testing strategies with a strong automation‑first mindset
- Lead API automation initiatives and backend/data validation efforts
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Lead analysis of test failures, logs, and production defects, performing in‑depth root cause analysis (RCA)
- Apply AI‑based log analysis and failure pattern detection to identify systemic quality issues
- Design and implement AI‑driven self‑healing automation capabilities, including intelligent locator recovery and adaptive stabilization
- Drive preventive quality improvements by reducing flaky tests, recurring defects, and test maintenance overhead
- Define best practices, standards, and governance for AI‑enabled Quality Engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and promote quality ownership across cross‑functional teams
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC
Core Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of hands‑on experience in Quality Engineering / SDET roles
- Strong experience in test automation design and framework ownership
- Expert‑level knowledge of UI and API automation frameworks
- Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g. Cucumber)
- Solid experience with API testing and backend/data validation
- Hands‑on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to lead defect analysis and preventive quality initiatives
- Proficiency with Git and modern version‑control practices
AI & GenAI Skills
- Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development and testing tools (GitHub Copilot, VS Code Copilot)
- Ability to write effective prompts for AI‑assisted test and code generation
- Strong capability to review, validate, and secure AI‑generated outputs
- Understanding of AI agent concepts, including prompt‑driven execution, tool orchestration, and feedback loops
- Experience implementing or contributing to AI‑driven self‑healing automation
- Commitment to responsible and governed AI usage in the SDLC
Nice‑to‑Have / Preferred Skills
- Programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Exposure to Docker, containerized test execution, and Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- Exposure to Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis
- Product‑based company background
- Prior experience in IoT, Telecom, or large‑scale distributed systems
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, especially for AI‑generated code
