Job Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will be responsible for functional and performance validation of web applications in system test, staging and production environments. Candidate must be able to create and execute test plans, test cases based upon functional and product design specifications and report results as per standard policies and procedures. Candidate must be abreast with latest technologies and trends, relevant standards; should be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multinational team environment focused on innovation. Candidate should be comfortable working on a range of problems.
Education
-BE/ BTech degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 6 plus years of product validation experience
Experience/Qualifications
Required Technical Skills/Education:
- Experience of different software test techniques and QA methodologies
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and processes
- Experience with web applications including
- Experience with Core Java
- Experience with automation test frameworks (Selenium etc)
- Experience with automating desktop application using AutoIT/TestComplete/QTP
- Experience with Cloud based testing
- Experience with Rest Web Service and Soap Service automation testing
- Experience with web server based deployments
- Knowledge on ZIRA/Rally/HP ALM QC test Management tool or other Defect management tools
- Experience with performance tests automation using Jmeter
- Experience with Continuous integration – Jenkins or any other tool
- Be a key participant in creating a Quality First and Zero Defects culture
Preferred Technical Skills/Education:
- Experience with Building Automation and/or HVAC domain
- Mobile/Tablets testing
- Mobile testing automation
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and networking concepts

This individual be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on multiple projects and function in a team environment.
