Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with your peers and engaging with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Delivery as part of our cross functional teams
- Advocating for the utilisation of the quality-first mindset throughout the development process
- Ensuring that we are embedding quality into our processes, utilising relevant techniques and heuristics where required to ensure effective testing and feedback loops
- You will be hands on, working with engineers to test and measure quality as products are being built
- This is a hybrid role - you are expected to be in the office 2 days a week, with occasional travel to other offices where required.
Requirements
- 5 years within the quality engineering space
- You have a strong desire to continually improve, with an innate curiosity and an eye for detail
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to proactively seek out and raise risks with relevant team members and leadership, working with them to help resolve any issues.
- You have a strong understanding of testing techniques, heuristics and processes - and how/when they are implemented during the development process
- You have a working understanding of test automation, its benefits and how it should be implemented along with knowledge of pitfalls. Bonus points if you have experience in building automated test frameworks to a working level!
- You have had exposure to applications built with any of the following:
Javascript/Typescript + React/Angular/Vue.js
Testing frameworks such as playwright, storybook
C# .NET
Observability frameworks such as Grafana/Datadog
Skills Required
- 5 years of experience in quality engineering
- Strong understanding of testing techniques, heuristics, and processes
- Working understanding of test automation, its benefits, implementation, and pitfalls
- Exposure to applications built with JavaScript or TypeScript and React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Excellent communication skills and ability to identify and resolve risks
- Experience building automated test frameworks to a working level
- Experience with Playwright or Storybook
- Experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with Grafana or Datadog
