Lead QA Automation (UAT Script)

Job Overview:

 

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.

 

Responsibilities

• Strong collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
• Proactive communication and ownership mindset.
• Ability to coach squads through pair programming, workshops, and mentoring.
• Support automation handoff and help squads become autonomous.

 

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Playwright (Java), including JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience using LambdaTest for cloud-based cross-browser and mobile testing.
• API functional and contract testing (Swagger / Postman), including third-party APIs.
• Pixel-perfect UI validation against Figma designs.
• Mobile automation with Maestro.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted test generation (e.g., Playwright MCP), including critical review of AI-generated scripts before commit.
• CI/CD integration experience including scheduled suites, parallel execution, quality gates, and release validation.
• Experience with self-healing tests, failure triage, root cause analysis, and Jira defect management.
• Experience automating test data via APIs, including creation of test users and enrollments.
