Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases for multiple new features of the Retirement Manager application (5%).
- Perform manual testing on the application and documented the results (15%).
- Coach and guide new hires to help them get up to speed quickly to drive productivity (5%).
- Review code prepared by other team mates and suggest improvements (10%).
- Gain a deep understanding of business (5%).
- Design and build a test automation framework (10%).
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process (5%).
- Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented (10%).
- Able to work and guide QA across multiple squads (10%).
- Work on Process Improvement to drive Quality (10%).
- Provide recommendations on new tools and innovations to increase the performance and efficiency of the test designed (10%).
- Integrate automation with CI/CD to run QA tests with every release (5%).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field and 7 years of experience in the job offered, Sr. QA Automation Engineer, or a related field involving coding.
- Alternatively, we will accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field and 5 years of experience in the job offered, Sr. QA Automation Engineer, or a related field involving coding.
- This position also requires: 5 years of experience with building up QA Automation framework; 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming; 5 years of experience with writing code using programming languages like Java, C#; 5 years of experience with tools, including Selenium/Webdriver, Test NG, and Junit; 3 years of experience with SQL; 3 years of experience with various data formats such as CVS, JSON, XML; 3 years of experience with creating modulat/reusable code; 2 years of experience with understanding alerts in Splunk or similar programs; 2 years of experience with coding in JavaScript scripting language; and 1 year of experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment.
