JOB TITLE: Lead Project Manager, FATCA/CRS (Fixed Term Contract)
SALARY: From £59,850
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Sighthill North
HOURS: Full- time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our CIB Rectification & Remediation (R&R) team. We are a very flexible team with our primary goal of putting things right when things have gone wrong for our clients. The R&R portfolio is varied, high-profile and always challenging.
What you’ll be doing
You will lead your delivery team to ensure the fundamentals of Project Management excellence are achieved, this includes analysis, governance, planning, managing finances and delivering value. You will also role model a desire to develop skills and experience, create space to learn and collaborate, demonstrate resilience and adaptability, confidence and display confidence to innovate and test new ideas. Coaching others in their team to achieve delivery excellence is also a key part of the role.
In addition, we work closely within our teams and across business units to understand and correct what has gone wrong, to ensure our clients are treated fairly and to make sure the lessons are learned. We enable the business to maintain the highest levels of service to our clients whilst fully adhering to all regulatory standards and requirements. We also feel empowered to challenge thinking and behaviours in an open, safe, and innovative environment.

You have excellent project management skills, and builds and maintains effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues and stakeholders
You'll be a capable negotiator, analytical thinker and problem solver who will influence positively

What you’ll need
Proven experience leading change projects from idea to implementation delivering to agreed scope, cost, quality, and timescale
Call out delivery risks where required to ensure that releases and backlog initiatives are not delayed
Build and maintain effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues, proactively answering queries and following up actions with stakeholders
Oversee design, build, route to live and implementation
Ensuring sign off for all accountable deliverables
Proficient in LBG’s change lifecycles and supporting governance
Experience working in an agile team and able to facilitate various Agile processes such as Daily Stand-up, Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review
Planning of roadmap initiatives whilst considering dependencies, upstream and downstream impacts
Deep understanding of FATCA/CRS frameworks: Beyond annual reporting, knowledge of due diligence rules, account classification, and remediation obligations
Data analysis and validation: Ability to interpret large datasets, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with reporting standards
Tax and compliance awareness: Familiarity with global tax regulations and how they interact with FATCA/CRS requirements
Audit readiness: Preparing documentation and evidence for internal/external audits
And any experience of these would be really useful
Previous experience of remediations
Understanding of the Remediation and Rectification lifecycle
