Job Description

 

  • Lead and oversee all CSA design and construction activities for the data centre project.
  • Coordinate design reviews, ensure timely updates, and track CSA deliverables against project milestones.
  • Review civil, structural, and architectural designs for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with data centre requirements.
  • Ensure CSA designs support key data centre constraints
  • Validate calculations, structural analysis reports and architectural drawings from consultants.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising reliability or safety.
  • Monitor site progress, ensuring CSA works follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Resolve on-site technical issues promptly and coordinate change management processes.
  • Conduct site inspections, supervise testing, and approve material selections.
  • Ensure integration of critical infrastructure elements such as foundations for heavy equipment, cable trenches, ramps, façade systems, and structural load paths.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, safety standards, and authority requirements.
  • Lead quality audits for CSA activities and enforce corrective actions.
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and inspection test plans
  • Act as primary point of contact for CSA consultants, contractors, and external authorities.
  • Manage tender processes for CSA packages where required (evaluation, scope definition, recommendation).
  • Track and manage CSA-related project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, design trackers, and issue logs.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete for handover.
  • Support commissioning team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in CSA design and construction management.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience specifically working on data centre, high-tech industrial, semiconductor, or mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong background in structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, architectural finishes, and façade systems.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, authority submission processes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues quickly and manage tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized with strong reporting and documentation capabilities.
