As a member of the Construction & Commissioning team, you will be an active contributor to the management and coordination of site activities and maintaining client relationships. Your main priorities will be ensuring EHS compliance, promoting quality requirements and leading technical aspects to resolve site issues effectively. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate site technical activities and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and with project schedule.
- Maintain effective communication with project teams and clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Review performance/optimization of the site crew with the site manager
- Implement and propose process improvements for optimized site execution.
- Evaluate tasks for EHS compliance and stop work if risks are not mitigated.
- Inspect and supervise works to ensure adherence to technical standards and regulations.
- Manage site documentation in a timely manner, including inspection reports and site record sheets.
- Raise non-conformities and participate in root cause analysis
- Review, comment and apply erection procedures & ITP
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical installation of shaft lines, turbines, or generators (winding, rotor)
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office.
The salary range for this position is 87,000.00 - 116,000.00 - 145,000.00 USD Annual The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive performance bonus of 10%.
