Essential Responsibilities:
As the Lead Project Management Specialist, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
- Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
- Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities
- Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
- Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
- Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable
- Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
- Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements
- Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
- Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
- Other relevant duties are assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 2 years managing projects (nuclear preferred but any energy or other large scale projects)
Eligibility
- The preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) Headquarters Wilmington, NC but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $87,000.00 and $145,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
