Designation Lead programmer Analyst

Assurance) for aligned benefits services or product lines.

Role Description

The Lead Analyst – Technology has overall accountability for the technology work—system analysis, configuration, and quality assurance—of Alight’s proprietary benefits system for one or more aligned service or product lines, such as Health Management (HM). The role may support one or multiple clients based on business needs.

The Lead Analyst is responsible for creating high-level and complex analysis, approving all system configurations, technical documentation, and testing outcomes, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and system capabilities. The role plays a critical governance function by signing off on production migrations, ensuring stability of newly released projects, and managing a smooth transition to operations for ongoing support.

In addition, the Lead Analyst provides strong technical leadership by coaching and mentoring Senior Analysts and Analysts on quality, technology, and client-specific requirements. The role also involves coordinating with Project / Performance Team Managers to manage workload, address unplanned work, and ensure delivery commitments are met. Depending on business needs, the role may also include people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand technical requirements, manage expectations, and guide analysis activities.
  • Define and execute integrated system and testing strategies for aligned services.
  • Perform high-level gap and impact analysis and delegate detailed analysis as appropriate.
  • Oversee data conversion, interface strategy, and integration with Shared Services.
  • Ensure maintenance of regression test plans and integration of test execution and quality.
  • Lead deployment execution, production stabilization, and system abend monitoring.
  • Drive precise technical documentation, including gap analysis and transition artifacts.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team environment.

Education:

  • B.Tech (CS / IT / ECE) or MCA – mandatory Experience
  • Prior experience with Alight / Aon / Wipro is an added advantage
  • Health or Retirement Domain experience preferred
  • Experience in development and implementation of software solutions
  • Strong project management experience
