Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lead Production Associate to join our manufacturing facility in Rocky Mount. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards, and lead a team of production associates while maintaining efficient workflow and safety protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production associates to achieve operational excellence
- Monitor production processes and implement quality control procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize production scheduling
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Track and report key performance metrics
- Maintain production equipment and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Ensure proper documentation of production activities and quality records
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of supervisory experience leading production teams
- Proven track record of implementing efficient production processes and quality control measures
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and safety protocols
- Experience with production scheduling and workflow optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in production management systems and quality control tools
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
