Job Title: Managed Services Product/Solutions Offer Manager

Position Overview: As a Managed Services/Solutions Offer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our managed network and communications offerings for automotive dealerships. You will be responsible for developing and managing the product and solutions portfolio, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our clients while aligning with our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of both network and communications technologies as well as the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer Portfolio Management:

  • Develop and manage the solutions roadmap for managed network and communications offerings targeted at automotive dealerships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to define solutions.offer requirements and specifications.

Solution Development:

  • Design end-to-end managed service solutions that encompass third-party network and communications products, customized to meet the specific requirements of automotive dealerships.
  • Work closely with vendors and partners to evaluate, select, and integrate third-party products into our solutions portfolio.
  • Define service level agreements (SLAs), pricing strategies, and packaging options for different tiers of managed services.

Partnership Management and Negotiation:

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with third-party partners, including network and communications product vendors, technology providers, and service integrators.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level commitments with partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support our business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with partner organizations to align product roadmaps, coordinate joint marketing initiatives, and drive mutual growth opportunities.

Packaging and Pricing Strategy Development:

  • Define packaging options and pricing structures for our managed network and communications offerings, considering factors such as feature differentiation, market segmentation, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and pricing benchmarks to inform pricing strategies and optimize revenue generation.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to implement pricing models, monitor pricing performance, and make data-driven adjustments as needed to maximize profitability and market penetration.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Partner with Marketing to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and solution enhancements, including marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to identify target customers, verticals, and geographies, and support them with solution positioning and messaging.
  • Monitor the performance of existing offerings, conduct regular reviews, and implement strategies for continuous improvement and optimization.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on managed network and communications solutions, engaging with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at automotive dealerships, demonstrating thought leadership and providing strategic guidance on technology adoption and best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to maximize the value they derive from our managed services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, or product marketing, preferably in the telecommunications, IT services, or automotive industry.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in networking technologies, communications systems, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex, technology-driven products or solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, capable of understanding market dynamics and translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with, managing, and negotiating partnerships with third-party vendors, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective packaging and pricing strategies for technology products or services, with a track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret market data, conduct competitive analysis, and make informed decisions to optimize pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and initiatives, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to execute on strategic priorities and deliver results.

Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
