About the team and the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join the high-growth eBay Live organization. eBay Live is one of eBay’s top strategic priorities, and this role operates at the intersection of zero-to-one innovation and large-scale product execution. We are looking for a product builder who thrives in ambiguity, embraces rapid experimentation, and employs AI-native tools and workflows to accelerate learning, prototyping, and product delivery. You will help define the future of interactive LIVE commerce while building experiences that reach millions of buyers around the world.

What you will accomplish:

  • Execute against the product vision and strategy for buyer discovery and LIVE commerce experiences, translating strategic priorities into impactful customer experiences that drive engagement, conversion, retention, and long-term customer value.

  • Own and evolve buyer discovery experiences across eBay Live’s most important customer touchpoints, including personalized recommendations, browse and search experiences, product discovery surfaces, and LIVE commerce entry points. Shape how buyers discover, explore, and engage with relevant content, sellers, products, and interactive shopping experiences throughout the customer journey.

  • Lead end-to-end product development for high-impact initiatives spanning personalization, recommendations, ranking, and discovery experiences, from opportunity identification and requirements definition through launch, measurement, and iteration.

  • Drive a roadmap of experiments focused on helping buyers discover the right experiences at the right time through data-driven decision making, rapid experimentation, and continuous optimization. Design, launch, and scale experiments across global markets to accelerate learning and enhance customer and business impact.

  • Lead and inspire confidence among a wide range of partners, including engineering, design, data science, research, and marketing. Foster collaboration, build alignment, and drive shared outcomes across partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

  • Many of the most impactful customer experiences in this space span multiple products, platforms, and teams. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership, the ability to influence without authority, and a track record of driving alignment across diverse partners to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences and measurable business outcomes.

  • Define success metrics and leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to find opportunities, prioritize investments, and measure business impact across engagement, retention, and commercial outcomes.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the technical architecture and backend systems that power your product area to effectively partner with engineering, unblock development, and influence technical decisions that enable scalable customer experiences.

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of product management or related strategy experience, with e-commerce, video, or social commerce experience highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Ambiguity Management: Exceptional ability to thrive in an ambiguous, 0-1 environment, distilling complex, unclear problems into a clear product vision and actionable roadmap.

  • Prioritization and Tradeoffs: Demonstrated ability to evaluate options, assess trade-offs (short-term vs. long-term), and recommend a path forward, even with incomplete data.

  • Influence & Communication: Masters written and verbal communication, adapting your message to influence both execution teams and executive leadership. Ability to lead and inspire without direct authority.

  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to use quantitative and qualitative insights to build strong cases, define necessary data, and measure product performance.
