About LegalTemplates

Since 2015, LegalTemplates has helped hundreds of thousands of people save millions of dollars in legal fees through our automated legal forms. Fast forward to 2024, and we’re setting out to ambitiously reimagine what online legal services can be. We're not sitting around trying to achieve product/market fit and burning VC funding while expecting everyone to work ridiculous hours for low probability of future reward. We're profitable, organized, experienced, and in growth mode.

As a business, our mission is to modernize the entire legal experience for small business owners, landlords and individuals.

As an organization, we’re committed to providing freedom and flexibility that facilitates creative thinking; derestricting rules and reducing bureaucracy; enabling you to take ownership of your scope.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic Growth Product Manager to take full ownership of our platform, currently used by hundreds of thousands of users. We have scaled our solution to service an expansive user base, beyond personal and family related legal forms, to include homeowners, landlords & tenants, SMB owners, and more. As we embark on our next phase of expansion, we aim to deliver even more value to our users, as measured by growth across the most critical business KPIs: conversions, signups, renewal rates, account activity.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, giving you a unique opportunity to shape company strategy. Your mission is clear: increase revenue. As the owner of the product, you will be laser focused on identifying and executing ways to deliver revenue growth, whether by improving conversion rates, increasing lifetime value, reducing churn -- or any innovative approach you can envision.

Leading the product team with a hands-on, results-driven approach, you will ideate new strategies, then take charge of sprint planning, A/B testing, and feature launches. You’ll also set the pace across designers, data scientists, and product marketers, who will be supporting your work.

Your Profile
We’re looking for a PM with proven business acumen, a can-do attitude, and a passion for revenue and monetization. You are someone who obsesses over growth, always finds new opportunities, and has a proven record of driving results and maximizing potential. You’re an out of the box thinker, able to evaluate user needs and identify opportunities - whether that’s shipping new features or cross selling third party services.

If you are a natural leader and proactive “doer” who is eager to elevate your career and make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Create the product vision, roadmap, driving execution, and delivering business outcomes.
  • Test and optimize our monetization strategy. Design pricing plan and service bundle variations, utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Meticulously analyze user cohorts, identifying specific needs, then build out services and solutions to serve those users (either building in-house or leverage third party partnerships).
  • Analyze the user lifecycle, including the activation, retention, dormancy, and resurrection phases, and deploy experiments to improve the lifetime value (LTV) and decrease churn.
  • Everything else you expect from a PM position (running sprints, prioritizing stories, translating requirements, competitor research, defining strategy, etc).
  • Applying high Emotional Intelligence internally and externally.

Requirements

  • SaaS experience is a must: 5+ yrs defining, shipping, and iterating SaaS products.
  • Experienced with subscription pricing models, confident using analytics software, fluent with all SaaS related unit economics.
  • Knowledge of ins and outs of monetization, from improving conversion rate to designing revenue plans.
  • Experience identifying partnership opportunities, cross selling third party services or building white-labeled solutions.
  • Experience conducting growth experiments, A/B and multivariate tests, funnel analysis - with a proven track record of success.
  • High data fluency, expert with analytics software such as GA4, Heap, Looker Studio - able to perform comprehensive product analysis covering the entire funnel from marketing acquisition to conversion.
  • Thrives in a start-up environment, executing as an individual contributor while also setting strategy and product direction.
  • Experience working with a distributed team working flexible hours (highly desirable).

Benefits

  • Full remote working with flexibility to set your own working schedule
  • Highly competitive compensation package
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage for you and your dependents (provided by a leading carrier)
  • Retirement planning with company 401(k)
  • 15 days paid vacation, 5 days paid sick, 11 federal holidays
  • Full hardware setup including Apple laptop plus the latest peripheral kit
  • Access to the learning & development program, including sponsorship for certifications & accreditations
  • Company swag, seasonal gifts, and more…

If you are a talented and ambitious Growth Product Manager that's ready to make a bigger impact, and want to work with a small group of like-minded people, you’ve come to the right place.

Send us your resume and a brief message explaining why you’re the perfect fit!

What We Do

Founded by Carnegie Mellon Alumni, we’re not an ordinary software company. We incubate our own ideas, develop them, and take them to market with astonishing speed. We’re driven to stay at the cutting edge of our fields to build outstanding software and marketing engines that competitors feel compelled to imitate. We continuously create apps and websites used by millions worldwide. And we do it all from the beautiful island of Taiwan, a place we’re all proud to call home.

Culture, Life & Growth at Taroko

Hard work, resourcefulness, and ownership are some of our key values — but we place a healthy and balanced lifestyle above all. Whether you want to raise a family, work on your hobbies, or explore Taiwan’s beautiful cities, mountains, and rivers, we provide a western-style work culture where you can not only launch a prosperous career, but also pursue your passions.

Work-Life Flexibility

We’re not like other software companies in Taiwan and Asia at large — at Taroko, when you get your work done for the day, then it’s time for you to go do you. We provide generous vacation time, which we encourage you to use to explore Taiwan, Asia, or any other parts of the world. Flexible remote hours enable you to work from home, during your return visits to family, or even from a beach in Thailand.

Entrepreneurship

Our business strategies and products are built from the ground up, frequently in industries we’re completely new to. As a result, we rely on smart and driven individuals to take ownership of their products and forge pathways to success. Insights that you personally develop and communicate can have an immediate and obvious impact not only on our products, but also on your career prospects.

Coaching, Training, & Growth

No matter which role you perform, we provide extensive coaching and training to help you achieve and thrive at Taroko. Your skills will be sharpened and honed by challenges that require ingenuity and resourcefulness to overcome, and we’ll provide guidance, professional development, and formal feedback to help you meet them along the way
