Lead Product Manager
Overview:
Mastercard's Operational Intelligence team is building the next generation of data products, and AI solutions that help customers access and use operational insights in new ways. As part of this effort, the team is developing innovative products that deliver data through APIs and conversational experiences, creating alternatives to traditional reporting solutions.
Role:
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define product vision, business requirements, and strategic priorities, translating them into actionable project and delivery plans.• Drive product and business strategy by evaluating customer needs, operational challenges, market trends, and business objectives to recommend new capabilities, processes, and solutions.• Ensure methodology compliance and manage resolutions, reporting to management when necessary.• Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of initiatives. Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.• Must be familiar with business objectives, product goals, project scope, and team responsibilities in order to effectively coordinate activities across cross-functional teams.• Identify and monitor project, product, and business risks, proactively developing mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.• Regularly communicate strategic recommendations, product updates, business impacts, and project status to senior management and key stakeholders.• Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards, operating models, and strategic plans in support of business growth and organizational objectives.• Effectively lead cross-functional teams to align with business objectives, product strategy, project schedules, and budget expectations.• Effectively deal with difficult situations, navigate ambiguity, and help develop solutions to complex business and operational challenges.
