Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Owner to drive strategic initiatives within the Account Opening & Maintenance product organization. This role is responsible for defining product vision, shaping roadmap priorities, and delivering business outcomes through strong stakeholder leadership and execution excellence. In this role, you will:
- Own product outcomes end-to-end by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering capabilities that maximize customer and business value.
- Drive product vision, roadmap, and prioritization across complex initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted liaison among business, technology, operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and governance forums, including agendas, decisions, action items, and meeting minutes.
- Develop business cases and executive presentations to support strategic decisions and investments.
- Leverage data, analytics, and insights to guide prioritization and decision-making.
- Manage product roadmaps and Jira backlogs while balancing long-term strategy with near-term delivery.
- Utilize GenAI tools to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Mentor Product Owners and provide leadership across cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- End-to-End Product Vision: Ability to define and execute a product vision that aligns business objectives, customer needs, and delivery outcomes.
- Strategic Business Cases: Experience developing business cases that articulate value, ROI, risks, and enterprise alignment.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Proven ability to influence and align business, technology, operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners.
- Meeting & Governance Excellence: Expertise in facilitating stakeholder meetings, developing agendas, documenting decisions, publishing meeting minutes, and driving accountability for action items.
- Executive Presentations: Expertise in developing leadership-ready PowerPoint presentations that communicate strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Ability to leverage data and insights to influence executive decision-making.
- GenAI Utilization: Experience leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) tools to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Agile Execution: Advanced proficiency with Jira for roadmap planning, backlog management, prioritization, and delivery execution.
- Financial Services Experience: Experience in Wealth Management, Brokerage, Account Opening, Servicing, or related financial services domains.
