Overview
As a Lead Product Manager Technical within the Dispute Lifecycle Program, you will be responsible for driving the definition, prioritization, and delivery of dispute management capabilities supporting regional and global dispute processing needs.
This role partners closely with Regional Product teams, Business Owners, Operations, Engineering, UX, and Architecture teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable platform capabilities delivered through the Mastercard Dispute Resolution platform.
The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business problems, navigating stakeholder needs across multiple regions, and converting strategic objectives into clear, actionable product requirements that enable successful delivery across multiple Scrum teams.
Role:
This position is a member of the Dispute Lifecycle EngineeringTeam.
Partner with regional product and business stakeholders to understand dispute processing requirements, regulatory obligations, operational challenges, and market-specific needs.
Translate regional solution requirements into product initiatives, epics, features, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned Dispute Lifecycle capabilities, ensuring priorities align with product strategy and business value.
Collaborate with UX, Engineering, and Architecture teams to define scalable user experiences and platform solutions that support global and regional dispute workflows.
Lead requirements workshops, solution review sessions, and cross-functional discussions to drive clarity and stakeholder alignment.
Document complex workflows, state transitions, operational processes, and business rules to ensure implementation readiness.
Drive prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer value, compliance, operational efficiency, technical feasibility, and delivery commitments.
Work closely with Engineering teams to support solution design, estimation, planning, dependency management, and release readiness activities.
Coordinate with regional teams to identify opportunities for standardization and reuse while accommodating market-specific requirements.
Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Partner with Operations and Business teams to validate delivered solutions and measure business outcomes.
Ensure proposed solutions satisfy Mastercard security, compliance, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.
Support modernization initiatives including workflow automation, API-based integrations, intelligent decisioning, and AI-enabled dispute management capabilities.

Strong experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Technical Product Management within enterprise platforms.
Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and translate complex business requirements into scalable product solutions.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology organizations to deliver customer-focused products.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive alignment across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of product management practices including roadmap planning, backlog management, prioritization, and Agile delivery.
Ability to understand technical architectures and effectively collaborate with engineers and architects on solution design and implementation approaches.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across all organizational levels.
High-energy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from concept through delivery.
Experience documenting business processes, workflow models, decision trees, and user journeys.
Familiarity with product governance processes including architecture reviews, privacy reviews, risk assessments, and release readiness activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in payments, dispute processing, chargebacks, fraud, claims management, case management, or financial services platforms.
Experience working with regional or global product organizations supporting multiple markets.
Familiarity with modern platform architectures, APIs, cloud-native solutions, and workflow-based applications.
Experience collaborating with UX teams to deliver intuitive operational and customer-facing experiences.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
