Position Summary

We’re looking for an innovative, analytical, and growth-minded Lead Product Manager – OEM Integrations to join the Data Analytics and Intelligence Team at CDK Global to drive the strategy and execution of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) integrations within our SaaS platform. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of scalable solutions that enable seamless data exchange and collaboration between our platform and OEM systems This role will play an important role in delivering an industry leading OEM Analytics solution that enables OEMs and Dealers to make better business decisions based on actionable insights and predictive analytics. You will be the owner of customer-facing OEM Analytics and have the opportunity to grow the business through understanding market opportunities and customer pain points. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic and analytical mindset, focus on positive business outcomes, ability to drive execution, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the future of OEM integrations, enhance dealer and customer experiences, and drive business growth. This role will utilize AI/ML models to drive differentiation, actionable insights, and tailored actions for customers to improve profitability and operational efficiencies. You should be both technical and non-technical to effectively communicate with audiences of different backgrounds, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, product strategy and roadmap for OEM data integrations and build product roadmaps that align with customer and CDK business objectives
  • Collaborate with OEM partners to understand their systems, requirements, and pain points, ensuring smooth onboarding and sustained engagement.
  • Deliver and prioritize well-defined epic/feature requirements to Engineering and UX based on user/market requirements, strategy & business plan
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and OEM partners, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Drive execution and delivery, and go-to-market of product roadmap through collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Product Operations, Product Marketing, Customer Care, and Professional Services
  • Communicate product updates, key milestones, and integration progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build new features and functionality to provide seamless and flexible integrations with the CDK Data Platform with successful customer adoption.
  • Build automation and new tools for Implementation and Customer Care to deliver a great customer experience for OEMs
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable API-based integrations that support OEM workflows, data sharing, and advanced functionalities.
  • Build a new front-end experience for OEMs to seamlessly integrate with the CDK data ecosystem along with dashboards that bring visibility into the health and operational KPIs for them
  • Stay updated on automotive industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies, incorporating insights into product development.
  • Leverage automotive expertise to create solutions that enhance dealer and end- customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Data Platform engineering team to ensure high quality data is delivered through high performing data pipelines
  • Partner with Launch Management to ensure a successful go-to-market plans with Professional Services, Customer Care, Marketing, Pricing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Drive competitive analysis and benchmarking of OEM integration capabilities in the automotive SaaS market.
  • Partner with the OEM Sales, Account Management, UX, Marketing and Customer Success teams to conduct customer research that drives strategy, roadmaps, and new opportunities
  • Become an expert and trusted partner at CDK Global for inbound and outbound integrations with OEM Data
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams and OEMs to deliver solutions based on contractual obligations
  • Prioritize roadmaps and features based on voice of customer and ongoing feedback loops from users and other stakeholders
  • Evangelize and effectively communicate Product Strategy, Roadmaps, and data- driven results to leadership, partners, and customers
  • Define and measure OKRs and KPIs that define success for the product
  • Partner with Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Customer Care to implement an operating model that provides the best customer experience for OEMs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience

  • 6 to 8+ years of product management experience in Enterprise SaaS

  • 5+ years of experience building data integration and tools for customers and

    internal teams

  • Proven track record of working with customers and engineering teams to deliver

    scalable, flexible data integrations for customers

  • Proven track record of delivering successful B2B integrations, preferably with

    OEMs or enterprise partners.

  • Strong understanding of API design, data exchange protocols, and integration

    workflows.

  • Experience working in a product-led environment, agile development

    methodologies, and globally distributed teams

  • Passion for collaboration and solving problems with other people and teams

  • Proven ability to influence and drive strategy across a large organization and

    multiple stakeholders

  • Highly motivated, go-getter attitude with a drive to produce an excellent end-to-

    end customer experience and positive business outcomes

  • Great listener and empathizer to voice of customer that leads to solving customer

    pain points

  • Excellent critical thinking skills to develop solutions that produces high adoption

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with story-telling savviness

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and audiences of all backgrounds

  • Nimble and enjoys working in a dynamic environment

  • Data-driven mindset to measure successful outcomes

  • Financial acumen to develop business cases and monetization opportunities

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred:

  • Master's or MBA in Computer Science, Business or a related field

  • Knowledge and experience with data integrations in the automotive industry

  • Pragmatic Institute certification

  • Automotive industry experience, particularly working with OEMs, dealers, or automotive technologies.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data integration tools.

  • Technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, or similar technologies.

Compensation: $140,000 - $180,00

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
