What will you do :

As a seasoned engineer you will be a part of a fast-paced team, where your experience will matter the most to scale our development & release processes and create world-class products.

Breathe programming! This role demands strong programming skills, the ability to adapt to emerging business requirements, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, often involving hands-on coding.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and drive the architecture, design, and hands-on development of critical, high-scale services and components, ensuring they meet requirements for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Work with and mentor talented engineers, guiding their growth and helping to resolve technical blockers.

Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand the system requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications. Identify key system components, interfaces, and dependencies.

Conduct code and design reviews to maintain high-quality standards and provide technical guidance across the engineering organization, fostering a culture focused on testing, maintainability, and observability.

Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve the overall product and engineering ecosystem.
What makes you qualified: • -
8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-
Proficiency in backend languages - Java and Python, and familiarity with cloud technologies - AWS, GCP, Azure and Kubernetes

Proficiency with advanced database concepts for popular NoSQL databases – MongoDB, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Kafka, Redis and Cassandra

Deep understanding of performance, scalability and observability.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment.

Ability to build a minimum working product quickly.

A sense of urgency and ownership over the product.
-
Architecture knowledge is good to have.
