We are seeking a Lead Product Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to architect and drive the execution of user-facing products powered by distributed cloud architectures and agentic AI systems. In this role, you will lead full-stack engineering initiatives, mentor junior/mid-level engineers, define core architectural patterns, and partner closely with product, design, and executive leadership to translate vision into production-ready systems.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Architect, scale, and maintain full-stack systems and agentic AI applications using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade agentic loops and advanced RAG pipelines for core product features.
- Establish engineering standards, set guidelines for API middleware, and drive system performance and security best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, system design sessions, and technical guidance.
- Partner directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Leadership to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and deliver features iteratively.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a Tier 1 institution.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of software engineering experience at a product-first technology company (high-growth startup or core Product Development org.).
- Technical Leadership: Proven track record of technical leadership, mentoring engineers, driving architecture reviews, and owning end-to-end technical delivery.
- Product Mindset: Deep mastery of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)—skilled in system trade-offs, iterative delivery, loop engineering, and using product telemetry to shape engineering decisions.
- Full-Stack & Web Architecture :
- Core Languages: Expertise in Python, Rust, Java, and JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Web Engineering: Deep experience designing high-throughput RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and backend middleware architectures.
- Architecture: Strong expertise in web protocols, low-latency API design, frontend-to-backend integration patterns, and system resilience.
- Cloud & Distributed Infrastructure :
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP or AWS (e.g., Lambda/Cloud Functions, Cloud Run/ECS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Pub/Sub, SQS).
- Delivery & DevOps: Strong command of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and designing robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- AI Engineering & Agentic Workflows :
- Frameworks: Production experience building complex, multi-agent workflows and LLM applications using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- AI Architecture: Advanced knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, Qdrant), semantic cache, and prompt orchestration.
- Agent Loops: Deep expertise in state machine design, memory management, tool integration, and guardrails for autonomous, self-correcting LLM agent loops.
