TeamSnap is looking for an innovative and passionate Lead Product Designer to help drive and execute our bold product vision and lead design projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences that help everyone involved in youth sports have their best season ever.


What You'll Do:


- Hone in on user needs, and leverage this understanding to help ideate and define product requirements by collaborating with product and engineering peers, leveraging sketches, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.

- Conceptualize valuable, consistent, and intuitive user experiences across platforms and devices by considering market context, industry and competitive trends, user research, analytics, and usability findings.

- Work within cross-functional teams, partnering closely with product managers, engineering, and marketing to define requirements, synthesize ideas, and validate designs through user testing.

- Communicate proactively, and collaborate with partner teams to get input on designs and adapt and iterate as needed.

- Tie your design decisions back to qualitative research and quantitative data to guide the product strategy from the user’s perspective while keeping business goals and engineering constraints top of mind.

- Contribute to and maintain our TeamSnap design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.


What Will Set You Up for Success:


- 5+ years of experience as a product designer building digital products with increasing responsibility.

- Ability to build user interfaces from scratch that can scale across devices and platforms with comfort.

- Experience in web and app development.

- An online portfolio that demonstrates ability to turn high-level ideas and vision into a strong and unique UX and creative solutions.

- Experience working in tight collaboration and influencing product, engineering, and marketing teams, with ability to synthesize feedback and input from peers and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and cost/benefit tradeoffs of different design solutions.

Compensation


We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers. The minimum starting point for this role is $125,000, inclusive of base and bonus, with comp updated based on multiple factors. Our comp is highly competitive in our space and we adjust overall comp based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. 


🖥 Location


TeamSnap is a fully remote company, so you need to be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same time zone as you. We are always expanding, but there is a small list of states we do not hire in at the moment, including Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and South Dakota and while we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.
