Lead Product Designer - DTC Mobile Apps

Job purpose 

Responsible for leading a team of designers and overseeing the design process and strategy for all products developed by Dario. 

Past experience working on DTC mobile applications required, with a focus on interaction design and visual design. Past experience in health and wellness nice to have but not required.

Duties / Responsibilities / Authorities 

• Build a user-centered design process and culture at Dario that puts our clients’ needs at the center of everything we do while establishing design principles and guidelines that ensure the products are consistent in their design language, style, and functionality. 

• Lead and manage a team of designers to support all Product Design needs across the portfolio of applications and websites. 

• Work closely with the product management team to identify customer needs, business objectives, and market trends that influence product design decisions. 

• Deeply understand our users’ goals/needs and use that understanding to drive evidencebased design decisions. 

• Use data, feedback, and learning to constantly validate how well what we’re building is working for the user. 

• Present UI/UX designs to stakeholders, users and development teams in formal and informal settings. Articulate and demonstrate how design solutions address user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and other project requirements. 

Requirements

• UX and UI design experience at a technology product company with increasing levels of responsibility and previous management experience desired. 

• A passion for serving our users. 

• An academic background in design, computer science, or other relevant field. 

• Expert capability in creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes, using 

• Figma, InVision, Abstract or other design tools. 

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Strong desire to drive continuous improvement to processes and workflows.
