Formulation Cost Center Lead
SHIFT: 1st 6:00 AM to 2:00 pm
PAY: $29.15 per hour. Compensation may be adjusted upward based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
JOB SUMMARY:

Under direction of the Area Manager, the Formulation Cost Center Lead is responsible for assisting on all duties related to the safe, profitable, environmentally sound and efficient operations of assigned Cost Center(s).
Duties include working with and training personnel to operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, as well as oversees all procedures involved in the production area. The Cost Center Lead ensures all employees follow all procedures, GMPs, Safety, and Quality plans, along with ensures all employees are productive and competent in their respective roles. Assist with production reports (batch sheets, non-conformities, check sheets, lot alerts, daily reports, etc.). Encourage teamwork within the company.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of continuous prior experience in manufacturing industry.
- Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
- Able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.
- Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.
- Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and directions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.
- Experience with on-the-floor training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Comprehension: Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and perform basic math.
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
- Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
