The Opportunity

Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our Minerals Processing Brownfields team located in Brisbane or Adelaide. If you're a self-motivated, results-driven individual, passionate about leading studies and engaging in multidiscipline design projects and supporting the development of junior engineers, this role is for you.

This position involves, hands on development  of process  deliverables,  provide technical and project direction for multidiscipline design teams  and internal and external stakeholder management to deliver projects from concept through to execution for our clients.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership to engineering projects to determine design requirements, engineering scope, and constraints.

  • Develop plans, specifications, and other documents.

  • Coordinate a scope of work and lead work programs, including advice on the identification, selection and procurement of equipment or components.

  • Lead engineering scopes and guide the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

  • Acknowledge and apply concepts of sustainability to engineering.

  • Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, systems, and processes. 

 

Qualifications, skills and experience: 

The candidate must demonstrate the following attributes;

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience. 

  • Recognised bachelor’s degree in engineering (in relevant discipline).

  • Experience with SYSCAD

  • Demonstrated experience across multiple engineering phases.

  • Demonstrated experience working on multi-discipline projects.

  • Experience Leading studies and project teams

  • Professional engineering registration in relevant legislated Australian state jurisdiction. 

  • Ability to lead a small team.

 

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in engineering consulting on small to medium projects

  • Experience in hydrometallurgical processes

  • Experience in copper, uranium, gold, aluminium & battery materials
