Northrop Grumman Chandler is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to support the Antares Team.
Job Duties:
- Lead team of electrical engineers working vehicle level scope.
- Prepares and presents electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews.
- Ensures vehicle and component compliance to internal design standards, military standards, and customer requirements.
- Evaluate completed design with more senior engineers and other technical groups to satisfy design requirements.
- Perform cost account management using earned value methods.
- Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage designs or introduce new concepts to meet mission requirements.
- Oversees and reviews system architecture, block diagrams, avionics specifications, qualification testing, and test data review of completed designs.
- Based on specific objectives, leads analysis, design, testing and documentation of complex designs.
- Coordinates and conducts the test programs required to evaluate the design, components, and systems.
- Provides formal peer review of simple engineering designs or analyses for less experienced engineers.

Basic Qualifications Level III
- BS in engineering and 5 Years experience, or 3 Years experience with master's in engineering.
- Electrical engineering preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Current and Active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance at time of application
- Documented experience in vehicle level design, integration and test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior launch vehicle and/or interceptor experience.
- Prior experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical components or subsystems
- Team leadership experience.
- Release of engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
- Problem solving not only for technical issues, but also for schedule, cost, resource, and other project challenges.
- Mentoring and cross-training team members across a diverse set of technologies and electrical system architectures used to meet customer requirements.
- Knowledgeable with the use of basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and electronic loads.
Basic Qualifications Level IV
- BS in engineering and 9 Years experience, or 7 Years experience with master's in engineering.
- Electrical engineering preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Current and Active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance at time of application
- Documented experience in vehicle level design, integration and test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior launch vehicle and/or interceptor experience.
