You will actively identify and develop significant business opportunities by understanding customer needs, the competitive landscape, and Nokia’s FWA Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) innovative products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to sales initiatives and pricing strategies. You will require a strong technical background in FWA and related technologies, coupled with excellent communication, sales, and problem-solving skills.
As a FWA Pre Sales Manager you are responsible to identify, define, defend, design and support the sales of FWA CPE solutions to customers in India with key focus on Airtel Bharti. You own all technical engagement with customers for pre-RFP, RFP, offer defense and negotiation meetings. This role requires ability to develop strong relationships with the respective Sales Account Manager, delivery teams and FWA PLMs, as well as good understanding of customer’s business environment and strong business acumen.

- Proactively identifying customers leads for the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) related opportunities
- Understand customer needs; identify new market and technological trends; investigate/identify external/internal solution providers to complete the end-to-end solution
- Have complete knowledge of competitive products and Nokia value added against the same; Be abreast with technology advancements and next generation products and technologies.
- Engage with the customer to prepare pre-RFP requirements
- Help Account team and customers to prepare RFP such that Nokia Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) products are best suited to the RFP
- Own and prepare solutions document, BoQ and best fit RFP response.
- Align with other units to complete the end-to-end customer requirements for the RFP.
- Own and conduct the demo / POC for the customer and complete it successfully
- Engage with customers for offer presentations and negotiations
- Understand and prepare roadmap aligned to the specific customer requirements.
- Transfer E2E solution for project Kick-off Meeting (KoM) and support smooth transition to project execution at project start
- Support lessons learned process
You have:
Qualification: Minimum Engineering graduate from reputed institute
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in telecom industry with large customers and expertise in the relevant areas as described in Job description
Knowledge of FWA CPEs, 3GPP end to end solutions, Wi-Fi and Consumer and Enterprise networks
Understanding of OSS and BSS work. (information flow, inventory, Order Management, Assurance, Activation, Performance, Fault, Device Management, Alarm Correlation)
Preferably have working experience on Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) products and solutions
Nice to have:
Good Understanding of service platforms which includes
- Internet subsystem like BNG, Mobile Core, Policy managers etc
- Network planning and new service introduction in Telco Network
