Role• Lead the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of CI/CD capabilities centered on SonarQube, Artifactory, and Bitbucket, supporting secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery for engineering teams.• Own the implementation and evolution of standard CI/CD workflows, integrating Bitbucket source control with build, quality scanning, and artifact publishing patterns.• Drive consistent adoption of SonarQube quality gates, Artifactory repository and promotion standards, and CI/CD guardrails across supported teams.• Participate in prioritization discussions with Product and Business stakeholders, translating requirements into clear technical designs and executable delivery plans.• Estimate, plan, and own delivery tasks end to end, including design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.• Develop and maintain shared pipeline components, templates, and automation that simplify CI/CD usage and reduce duplication across teams.• Automate build, operate, and run aspects of the CI/CD ecosystem, improving reliability, reducing manual effort, and strengthening operational readiness.• Drive pragmatic code, design, and process trade-off discussions within the team, balancing delivery speed, quality, and sustainability.• Own operational health for assigned tools and services, including status reporting, risk identification, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.• Support service and tool integrations with a focus on developer experience and delivery workflows, ensuring CI/CD tooling aligns with how teams actually build and release software.• Conduct demos and participate in acceptance discussions with Product Owners to ensure delivered capabilities meet functional and quality expectations.• Actively review code, pipeline changes, and automation contributed by team members, ensuring alignment with standards and best practices.• Mentor and guide less-experienced engineers through hands-on support, design reviews, and day-to-day technical leadership.• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, eliminate waste, and improve overall delivery efficiency through better automation and standardization.• Share and seek knowledge within engineering guilds and programs, contributing reusable patterns, libraries, and practices that improve productivity across teams.
All About You• 8+ years of professional engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex systems or platform capabilities.• Strong fundamentals in software design, automation, CI/CD concepts, reliability, and operational excellence.• Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Artifactory, and Bitbucket, including their configuration, integration, and day-to-day operation in enterprise environments.• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation that support multiple teams.• Experience owning delivery from requirement through production, including estimation, execution, and operational follow-through.• Solid understanding of code quality practices, static analysis, artifact lifecycle management, and build governance.• Comfort driving adoption of engineering standards and reviewing the work of peers to ensure consistency and quality.• Operational mindset with experience improving monitoring, alerting, and reliability of build and delivery systems.• Strong focus on developer experience and an understanding of how CI/CD tooling impacts day-to-day engineering workflows.• Demonstrated mentoring skills, supporting the growth of junior and mid-level engineers through guidance and feedback.• Clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate with Product, engineering peers, and adjacent platform teams.• Experience working in Agile teams, participating in planning, demos, and retrospectives.• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive incremental improvements through automation and simplification.• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, or similar) used in build tooling or automation.• Experience working in cloud-based environments, with familiarity around security, access controls, and automation practices.• Familiarity with containerized or ephemeral build environments used to execute CI/CD workloads.
