We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Planning with strong expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling for Oil & Gas / Piping projects.
The candidate must have core Project Planning experience and hands-on expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, resource planning, MIS, and project reporting using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Note: Candidates from industries other than Oil & Gas / Piping will not be considered.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and baseline plans.
- Prepare project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays, deviations, and critical path activities.
- Perform delay analysis and prepare mitigation and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
- Monitor resource planning for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Support preparation of cash flow statements and job cost reports.
- Evaluate the impact of scope, resource, and schedule changes.
- Maintain planning documentation and support timely project completion.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of core Project Planning experience
- Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas / Piping projects
- Strong expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Experience in baseline planning, critical path analysis, progress monitoring, and delay analysis
- Experience in preparing MIS, progress reports, and planning documentation
Skills Required
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of core Project Planning experience
- Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong experience planning and scheduling Oil & Gas projects
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Knowledge of project scheduling, baseline planning, critical path analysis, progress monitoring, and delay analysis
- Experience preparing project MIS, progress reports, and planning documentation
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
