Summary
Initiate, plan and execute approved pipeline
projects along the assigned point GTS- Gas
Transmission Systems, and Right of Way to agreed
standards (Cost, Schedule, Quality), ready to operate as defined in each project’s premise while
meeting Client’s Goal Zero HSE Objectives.

& Responsibilities
AIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Adopt and apply standard project management tools and techniques,
including supporting resources, to accurately scope, plan, cost, execute and
control projects to meet approved objectives as in the FID. Contribute to the
evolution of standardised work processes, tools, best practices, repeatable
solutions and synergies between all projects in the portfolio and across the
Projects Delivery group.
• Participate in the process of identifying, screening, planning,
prioritisation and approval of the plant’s investment program, including
capital allocation and all related governance accountabilities.
• Apply the Opportunities Realisation Process (ORP) as used by Client to
govern all capital and other technical/commercial opportunities in the plant;
Apply the ORP to implement a structured Project Delivery Assurance of own
portfolio of projects.
• Implement approved projects controls and health-check tools to ensure
quality delivery of own portfolio of projects, including appropriate Management
Information Systems to provide accurate, regular and timely performance
feedback to Management and Shareholders.
• Responsible for managing the TECOP risks and opportunities to deliver on
agreed outcomes, for managing stakeholders and non-technical risks.
• By personal leadership and commitment to the goal of no harm to people
and the environment, implement the approved HSSE Framework for capital
projects; be accountable for own portfolio of projects to be executed safely in
design and construction and provide assurance that they will operate safely
during and after start-up.
• Support, coach, develop and manage assigned staff, contributing to
effective skill-pool management and effective and timely development and
deployment of project delivery resources.
• Contribute to continuously raising the quality of project execution.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including senior management,
and Client Board Sub-Committees as appropriate, National Regulatory Bodies,
NGOs, the Host Communities etc to ensure all required approvals and permits are
delivered timely.
• Implement the approved Operations Readiness and Assurance process to
ensure from project initiation, that all projects are delivered ready to
operate safely and reliably. Manage own projects’ portfolio in line with and
contribute to maintaining the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System in place.
Requirements
Education
University degree in
Engineering
Experience/Certifications
Minimum
of 8-10 years post-graduation
experience, out of which minimum of 3 years should have been spent as Project
Leader of a $50 million - $150 million project or a portfolio of projects with
the same value range.
Membership of Professional Institutes - COREN
Skills Required
