Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

As a Lead Pega Developer you will design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

To be a successful Lead Pega Developer, you should have experience with:

• Overall 15+ years of experience in software development with 10-12 years of experience of application design and development in Pega with good People Management & communication skills. Experience in Pega CLM KYC framework. Deep understanding of application design, review and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency working on various PEGA components such as Case Lifecycle design, integration, Reports, Asynchronous processing etc. Hands on experience on PRPC Rule Resolution, Inheritance, Circumstancing, Persistence and Multi-node architecture and caching, Deep Understanding of database concepts.
• Good understanding of PEGA Performance tools. Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and should be aware of basic commands.
• Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, Managed team of at least 10 people, Pega CLSA or CSSA certifications.

• Strong analytical/problem solving mind set with the ability and willingness to get into the details to find solutions. Experience in an enterprise technology environment.
• Interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills. Ability to understand the business context of requirements and apply to the task in hand.

• Ability to work under pressure to deliver to committed timescales. Prior experience working in Corporate and Investment Banking Domain.

This role is based in Pune.
