As a key member of the USIS Operations delivery team you will facilitate key customer adoption of our offline products and solutions. In this role you will translate business requirements, configure, test, and deploy them within our proprietary cloud-based systems. As a Lead for the team you will work in day-to-day production while also providing project leadership support. You will have the opportunity to work closely with professional services, technical support, and product management teams. You will play a key part in the Fulfillment organization's evolution, joining a team dedicated to understanding current processes and then applying technology and automation to reimagine our workflow. This transformation will shift our focus from operational systems to analyzing outcomes and proactively identifying anomalies.
What you’ll do:
Support team project delivery through day-to-day project management execution and timeline management.
Mentor junior analysts and act as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving complex, client-impacting issues.
Responsible for designing and executing complex customer requirements to implement the most efficient solution.
Develop and present recommendations on optimal project processing, identify and resolve gaps in project requirements, and champion agile principles within the team.
Proficient in extracting and refining data using advanced SQL, Linux, and Python, alongside a variety of proprietary and open-source tools.
Act as a key technical liaison, collaborating with multiple groups within the organization, including project managers and sales, to ensure project success.
Drive on-time, high-quality deliverables by enhancing internal quality procedures and leading quality assurance tasks
What experience you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years prior experience coding and shell scripting experience (SQL, Linux, Python, Perl)
English Proficiency (C1)
What could set you apart:
Previous leadership experience in managing projects or programs
Experience working with data dictionaries, layouts, data formats, and data encoding (ASCII, UTF, UNICODE, EBCDIC). In addition, experience with Linux and/or other programming languages is desired.
A strong understanding and practical application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
