Timely, and accurate preparation of activities required for quarter-end and month-end closing (performing accounting, ERP module closing, balance sheet reviews and analysis according to the business deadlines).
- Periodically review and analyze project financials, proactively identify issues/problems and lead their resolution.
- Review wind turbine sales contracts for revenue recognition purposes.
- Build strong partnership with stakeholders across functions, including close cooperation with project management, project finance and other controllership teams.
- Lead various operational initiatives (e. g. simplifications, system changes, new policies implementation, etc.)
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Ensure controllership & compliance with especially ASC606 as well as GE Vernova’s accounting policies in general.
- Prepare/update documentation of revenue recognition controls.
- Ensure that internal controls and check points are in place and are followed.
- Coordinate, review and support day-to-day accounting and close activities performed by outsourced teams.
- Support external and internal audits.
