IT Corporate is a Nordic IT unit with close to 70 employees and consultants divided into four delivery units. We are responsible for systems and IT solutions for If's corporate units such as Accounting, Cash Management, Marketing, Legal and HR.
To strengthen our support for ongoing business and tech transformation, we are seeking a Lead developer in our Accounting Domain team with extensive experience of .NET & Azure development, who is also a dedicated team player with a willingness to share knowledge and experience with colleagues.

About the role
We are looking for a talented Lead Developer (focus on .NET & Azure) who will play a leading role in delivering accounting solutions for all Nordic and Baltic countries. This position will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile way of working to streamline development processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless integration of financial data and payment flows.
You will act as Tech Lead for solutions supporting our finance processes, with a strong focus on data quality, scalability, and business value. You are responsible for;
Drive technical direction aligned with architecture decisions within the Accounting domain
Act as technical mentor and elevate team capabilities
Ensure alignment with If architecture and standards
Lead design reviews and guide solution quality
Working in a data-driven environment built on Azure and Databricks, you will lead the development of systems for file ingestion, transformation, aggregation, and output generation, while also shaping engineering practices, development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

You also have:
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Systems Science, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Development experience: Strong experience in C#, .NET, Blazor, React, and Azure Functions, combined with strong solution design capability across integrations, data flows, scalability, and resilient architecture. Strong SQL skills are essential, while experience with Databricks and Python is highly valued. Familiarity with legacy data and integration tools such as SSIS is a plus.
AI, DevOps & Automation: Experience with Azure DevOps and a strong drive to improve CI/CD, engineering workflows, and developer experience. Experience using AI tools to support development, automation, and engineering efficiency is also valued.
Cloud & Hosting: Solid understanding of Microsoft server environments and Azure services, with a preference for PaaS and serverless architectures, as well as a strong focus on operational excellence, observability, and secure-by-default principles.
Agile ways of working: Hands-on experience of agile development and close collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
End-to-End Delivery: Proven ability to manage the full software development lifecycle—from ideation and design to deployment, operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Industry knowledge: Experience from the insurance industry or a similarly complex and regulated environment is an advantage.
Language: Fluent in English and Swedish.
