Job Description:

LEAD MODELING AND SIMULATION (M&S) ENGINEER

The Lead M&S Engineer shall lead environment (network) design, software licensing management, and delivery of M&S (including hardware/infrastructure upgrades) for USCYBERCOM J7 activities.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Lead Modeling and Simulation Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCYBERCOM.

It is required that the Lead M&S Engineer has the following qualifications:

● Meets the qualifications of a M&S Engineer Level III.

● Minimum of three years of experience with managing teams in an environment similar to this contract.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your M&S Engineer expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Simulator Technician III must have:
● Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
● Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Poly
● US citizenship required

It is desirable that the Lead M&S Engineer has the following qualifications:

● A broad technical foundation with skills in traditional networking, virtual environments and virtualization, industrial control systems, and other relevant systems.

● A record of strong customer service skills.

● At least one year of experience in conducting resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $46.43 - $62.81. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
