The Job
The BigChange mobile apps are used by 10,000s of front-line engineers and field service workers all-day every day, empowering them to perform their jobs as effectively as possible. They are at the coal face, enabling the success of our customers and driving growth in their businesses (as well as making lives easier for the many hard-working professionals out there).We have an exciting opportunity for a mobile lead to join our existing mobile pod, helping define our mobile tech strategy, supporting and encouraging the growth of our engineers, and promoting high-speed and high-quality delivery.
Lead the mobile apps team to deliver high-quality native mobile applications rapidly and reliably within an agile framework. Drive technical decisions, ensure compliance, manage tech debt, build design components, and mentor engineers, working closely with product, design and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
Drive technical decisions, ensure compliance, manage tech debt, build design components, and mentor engineers, working
closely with product, design and business stakeholders.Implements and enforces coding standards, patterns and best practices for the team in collaboration with other technical leaders
Ensure rapid, reliable, high quality delivery in agile team.
Lead technical decision making and solution design in team.
Ensure regulatory, compliance and non-functional requirements are adequately considered in technical designs.
Ensure technical debt is identified and improvement work is appropriately prioritised.
Nurture skills development of team Engineers through coaching, mentoring and career guidance.
What You’ll Bring
Mobile app development background (iOS - Swift/ObjectiveC, Android Kotlin/Java)
Previous mobile app development team leadership
Stays current on relevant technologies, industry trends and best practice
Able to share knowledge with the team
Balances hands-on coding with leadership
