Manao Software is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Mobile Developer to take our mobile team to the next level. In this hands-on leadership role, you will shape the standards and processes for our mobile projects, mentor and guide a growing team of developers, and build high-quality apps that deliver outstanding user experiences.

The Location
The company’s HQ is in Chiang Mai, one of the most innovative and creative cities in the world and a hotspot for tech companies. You will be based out of Bangkok (remote) or Chiang Mai (hybrid).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Mobile Team: Recruit, mentor, and guide iOS and Android developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Define Company-Wide Standards: Establish and maintain best practices, coding guidelines, and templates that enable consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all mobile projects.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide coaching, technical guidance, and professional development support to help team members excel in their roles.
- Hands-On Development: Architect and implement mobile solutions, contributing directly to codebases and tackling projects of varying complexity, from small prototypes to apps serving thousands of users.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Thai and international clients and colleagues, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and timely delivery of high-quality apps.
- Support the Sales Process: Collaborate with the sales team and prospective clients, suggesting technical approaches, recommending tools and architectures, and accurately estimating development efforts for new mobile projects.
Qualifications
- Thais and expats are welcome, with visa and work permit provided where applicable.
- Fluency in English for effective collaboration with our global clients and team.
- Significant expertise in one or more mobile platforms (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, or React Native) with proven experience delivering large-scale, high-performance apps.
- Strong leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- In-depth knowledge of in-app purchases, subscriptions, and payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe).
- Proven ability to set and maintain standards, best practices, and streamlined processes for mobile development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and confidently suggest and estimate solutions during the sales process.
