Leads mechanical, process, piping, HVAC, and firefighting engineering for EPC power plant projects. Oversees subcontractor deliverables, procurement packages, equipment manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, site implementation, technical compliance, budgets, schedules, quality, HSE, and corrective actions. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages technical risks and documentation, supports tenders, conducts root cause analyses, and evaluates engineering personnel.

2.5.   Prepare, monitor, and report the Department budget and work schedule; identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement value engineering principles to optimize technical solutions and prevent budget or schedule deviations. Define KPIs for departmental processes, track performance, and implement corrective actions for deviations.

2.6.   Manage all signed procurement packages, including engineering, planning, reporting, supply, site installation, and commissioning supervision; monitor technical compliance and progress of equipment manufacturing; participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT); and resolve any scope changes or technical issues with suppliers.

2.7.   Provide technical oversight and support for site implementation; coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines; and participate in technical bid evaluations or tender processes as required.

2.8.   Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformities, develop corrective action plans, and ensure resolution. Prepare and/or participate in Method Statements, HSE Risk Assessments, and incident investigations.

2.9.   Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality procedures, Integrated Management System, and documentation requirements. Participate in and contribute to Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental trainings and meetings. Take appropriate measures to minimize environmental impact, resource consumption, and waste generation.

2.10.   Assess departmental resource requirements, initiate requests, and support fulfillment. Conduct performance evaluations for Engineering personnel and maintain records.

2.11.   Fulfill assigned duties completely, report on time, and act in accordance with the Company’s mission, vision, and values. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors, even if not explicitly stated.



Requirements

2.1.Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (e.g., Mechatronics).

2.2.Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for EPC based Power Plant projects, including design, procurement, and site implementation.

2.3.Language & Computer Skills

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

2.4.Core Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors

Mechanical systems design: piping, HVAC, pumps, HVAC, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment.

Standards knowledge: ASME, API, ISO, NFPA, ATEX, etc.

Strong knowledge of construction and site installation requirements.

Proven design coordination and site experience.

Analytical, multi-disciplinary thinking.



Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field such as Mechatronics
  • At least 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience on EPC-based power plant projects
  • Experience spanning design, procurement, and site implementation
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems design, including piping, HVAC, pumps, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment
  • Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, NFPA, ATEX, and related standards
  • Strong knowledge of construction and site installation requirements
  • Proven design coordination and site experience
  • Analytical and multidisciplinary thinking
