Job DescriptionMinimum 12 Years’ Experience in the field of Detail Design Consultant (DDC), EPC, verification, and validations of site works etc. for Metro, Railways, Tunnel, Underground Structures, Airport and Railways, Residential, Commercial, Industrial Building.
Essential Responsibilities: - Engineer– Mechanical (Fire Fighting and Plumbing) Component will be responsible for following:
- Manage the Fire Fighting and Plumbing-Mechanical design team & QA of Mechanical design.
- Interaction with client for any technical meeting provides technical solutions to progress the site activities.
- Specialized in Troubleshooting during coordination and resolving the clashes during virtual model review and suggesting alternative design options aligned with energy saving and value engineering.
- Having Basic knowledge of Modelling, Drafting, detailing and coordination's using latest BIM software's like Revit-MEP, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD and also good knowledge and coordination capability of multi trades like Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting. Following the National and International Codes & Standards as ASHRAE, IPC, NBC, NFPA, IS, etc.
- Ensure schedule and cost considerations are included in design decisions, while maintaining primary responsibility to assure safe and appropriate quality designs.
- Expertise in mechanical modelling software Ellite and Manual calculation.
- Preparation of Design Basis Reports, Water Supply, Drainage, Storm water, Pump Head calculation Preparation of pipe size calculation for water supply and drainage, Booster/hydro pneumatic pump, transfer pump, sewage pump/ process drainage lift pump calculation,
- Preparation of Design Basis Reports Sprinkler, Water Mist System, Pump Head calculation And Selection of Equipment.
- Preparation of Equipment Schedules and Bill of Quantities.
- Assisted Project Manager in preparing Specifications, Technical Data Sheets, evaluating Vendor Documents for Fire Fighting and Plumbing.
- Roof Rainwater Drainage system design (Conventional) along with External Storm Water.
- Preparation of RFQ & Review of WTP, ETP and STP vendor drawings and Coordination with Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant and Sewage Treatment Plant vendors
